Donald Clark Osmond was born on the 9th of December 1957 in Ogden, Utah in the US, one of 7 sons and one daughter born to Olive and George Osmond. Along with his brothers Alan, Jay, Merrill and Wayne the Osmonds were formed, they were also known as the Osmond Brothers.

Donny Osmond became a teenage heartthrob to millions of girls in the early 70s. Along with David Cassidy and David Essex they were seen on the covers of all the teenagers magazines during that period.

He has had 9 top 30 solo singles in the UK, plus 4 with his sister Marie. Donny also had hits with his brothers in the Osmonds.
