Hi it’s Frank Bow the owner of music of the 70s. You may be wondering why I have a post called Route 66 on a 70’s website.
The reason is that I am currently doing a virtual walk of Route 66 as I am fundraising for Prostate Cancer UK. The walk is 2,278 miles and I have until 31st December 2022 to complete this challenge. I aim to finish the walk by my birthday on the 8th May 2022 when I will be, you guessed it 66.
As a way of fundraising I am asking people to donate and then add 5 songs to the playlist I listen to on my walks. I look forward to seeing and listening to your choice of music. I usually listen to 70’s music of course with some 80’s music too.
I am asking people to donate then add their songs in the comments below. As you know prostate cancer is one of the biggest killers of men in the UK, have a read at some information about prostate cancer.
I would like to thank everyone in advance for their contribution and I look forward to thanking you personally when I can.
Please help me raise funds for this worthy cause.
Thanks, Frank
