Now collections have released a new 70s album on the 22nd of November, it is called NOW That’s What I Call A Massive 70s Party. At first glance it looks like a very good collection which would make a great gift or even one to add to your collection. There are a lot of songs on here that you don’t usually see in 70’s compilation albums. I have looked at and owned a lot of these so I should know. Let’s have a look at the album together.

The floor-filling magic of ‘Disco Inferno’ from The Trammps, ahead of party staple ‘I’m In The Mood For Dancing’ from The Nolans, leads the first disc to a close with country gold ‘The Devil Went Down To Georgia’, and a huge hit from the end of 1979 for Fidler’s Dram, ‘Daytrip To Bangor (Didn’t We Have A Lovely Time)’
Disc 2 launches into high-energy Glam-rock classics with ‘The Ballroom Blitz’ from Sweet, the electrifying #1 ‘Devil Gate Drive’ by Suzi Quatro, and Slade’s iconic ‘Cum On Feel The Noize’, alongside classic glam pop hits from Mud (‘Tiger Feet’) and Wizzard (‘See My Baby Jive’) and ‘My Coo Ca Choo’ from Alvin Stardust.
