In this article I am going to give you all the information you want with this Rod Stewart songs List. I have seen Rod live 4 times over the years and he still gives a great concert to this day.

I saw him twice at Birmingham NEC, once at Cardiff castle and once at the Millenium Stadium, Cardiff. I have just booked tickets to go see Rod at Plymouth Argyle’s ground on the 24th June 2023 two days before our 30th wedding anniversary.

When I got married to my wife Gill in 1993 we played You’re In My Heart (The Final Acclaim) for our first dance as man and wife. A great song and a great night.

If we are looking at a Rod Stewart songs list the 1970’s is the place to start. He had most of his big hits between 1971 and 1979, during this decade Rod had 17 top 20 singles, Sailing was a hit twice. He also had 8 solo albums plus a couple of greatest hits albums.

From Gasoline Alley in 1970 to Blondes Have More Fun in 1978 the albums just kept coming with some amazing songs from these albums becoming hit singles.

 

Roderick David Stewart

Rod was born Roderick David Stewart on the 10th January 1945 in Highgate London. The rest of his family were from Scotland and that is why he is always thought by many to be scottish. Rod’s father had moved to England for work and that is how Rod ended up being born there.
